STEP 1
Weigh and finely
grind your coffee.
STEP 2
Add the coffee into the portafilter,
clean the sides and firmly press with a tamper.
STEP 3
Lock the portafilter into the
machine and set a scale below your cup.
STEP 4
Start the machine & look for a honey-like
consistency starting to appear from around 6 secs in.
STEP 5
Once you have approx. 40ml, stop the extraction.
A good extraction should take between 23-30 seconds.
PRO TIP
If the extraction is too quick, grind a
little finer or add a little more coffee next time.
