ORIGINAL HOUSE BLEND

This is Wakuli’s first and OG blend with beans from two of our Latin America partnerships. It is made up of about half of arabica beans from Coopervass in Brazil. Here we work with small scale farmers in the hilly South East Minas Gerais on direct export and towards 100% “regenerative” coffee production.

Our friends at Cafesmo in Honduras account for the other half. Buying coffee from them helps to reduce mass migration out of El Pinal, and make coffee farming a sustainable option for future generation of farmers.

Our Myanmar coffee is a fan favorite - and one of our most controversial. In Myanmar, farmers live in constant fear due to a civil war that has raged for over three years, causing many coffee buyers to pull out. We choose to stand by our partner Indigo Mountain and the farmers in Taunggy, ensuring they get a fair price and a reason to hope for a better future. And their coffee is worth it: only the ripest cherries are picked and dried with Buddhist attention, resulting in a natural coffee with a slightly boozy vibe and notes of mandarin, banana, and marshmallow. Perfect for gloomy days or a taste of spring to come.
