WHERE THIS COFFEE'S FROM.

We’re celebrating 7 years of partnership with Thomas of CBC in Tanzania—a journey summed up perfectly by Thomas: “Long live the partnership between CBC and Wakuli!” This coffee comes from Mbinga, a remote region where farmers once had little access to markets. Together, we've enabled the first-ever direct exports for local farmers, and each year, volumes grow as more farmers join. We're also experimenting with microlots and exploring sustainable, nature-friendly practices. In short: a partnership we’re incredibly proud of.

WHAT YOU'LL TASTE.

This is one of our most consistent coffees when it comes to taste profile. It has that clear taste of white grapes and raisins that is so typical for Tanzania specialty coffee. We think it is an amazing coffee for the first days of spring. It’s a bright washed coffee that seems to be getting better every year.

NO MORE
BAD COFFEE.

There is something completely wrong in the coffee industry. A handful of coffee giants control the coffee market, relying on low quality, unsustainable coffee, underpaying farmers and refusing to make a change. The result is Bad Coffee. We are here to change that. With Wakuli farmers get paid really well, the planet gets more love and you get to drink amazing coffee.

Three reasons why our coffee tastes great.

YOU GET TOP NOTCH BEANS.

Whether you like funky or more traditional coffee, all our beans are specialty grade. We source from small scale farmers around the world and we select our coffees for taste, quality and positive impact.

Three reasons why our coffee tastes great.

LIGHT ROAST, MAXIMUM TASTE.

We roast all of our coffee ourselves, and we roast it light. This way you get to enjoy all the funkyness that coffee has to offer. Think of coffee with subtle notes of strawberry milkshake, chocolate chip cookies or peach iced tea.

Three reasons why our coffee tastes great.

YOUR COFFEE IS NEVER NOT FRESH.

Specialty coffee tastes best a few weeks after it's roasted. That's why we deliver your beans within a week of roasting. This way you always drink the most tasty coffee.
