DECAF
Where this coffee's from
CBC is a young Tanzanian coffee export company, but run by two old hands in the business. Thomas and Adolph. This is one of the oldest Wakuli partnerships. Since we started working together, the quality of their washed arabica coffee has only improved. That's why we are extra proud to offer this coffee as our Wakuli Decaf. The gentlemen in Mbinga are doing a great job processing the coffee and the group of farmers who now sell directly to Wakuli have grown from 27 to 55. These farmers receive a higher upfront payment compared to other buyers and the final price is almost twice as high as their other markets.. In short, nothing but upsides!
What you'll taste
From now on you can enjoy Wakuli until the late hours! This decaf coffee is a washed arabica from Tanzania. It’s a decaf but it’s also just a really good specialty coffee. For decaffeination we use the sugarcane method, a natural process with the lowest footprint and the best way to preserve all the distinct flavours. Expect a friendly, grapey acidity with fruity sweetness so typical for Tanzania.
