WHAT IS
COLD BREW?

Cold brew is coffee, but instead of using hot water to extract the flavours, time does the job. Coarsely ground coffee is steeped in water for 10-14 hours and then filtered. This slow process creates a different taste profile - naturally sweeter, smoother and with a rounder mouthfeel.

It’s the perfect way to enjoy coffee cold during spring and summer. We’ve specially crafted a Cold Brew Blend for this summer, made with beans from our partners in Timor-Leste, Brazil & Ecuador.

WHERE THIS
COFFEE'S FROM.

This blend is made from beans sourced from three of our partners. 55% of the Cold Brew Blend comes from Brazil, where we collaborate with small-scale farmers from the Coopervass cooperative (like Augusto on the picture). 25% comes from the forests of Timor-Leste, where a large group of farmers cultivates coffee in a “coffee forest” owned by the entire community. The final part of the blend comes from Ecuador, where we are working hard to build a specialty coffee market in a region where farmers are usually at the merci of shady local middlemen.

NO MORE
BAD COFFEE.

There is something completely wrong in the coffee industry. A handful of coffee giants control the coffee market, relying on low quality, unsustainable coffee, underpaying farmers and refusing to make a change. The result is Bad Coffee. We are here to change that. With Wakuli farmers get paid really well, the planet gets more love and you get to drink amazing coffee.

Three reasons why our coffee tastes great.

YOU GET TOP NOTCH BEANS.

Whether you like funky or more traditional coffee, all our beans are specialty grade. We source from small scale farmers around the world and we select our coffees for taste, quality and positive impact.

Three reasons why our coffee tastes great.

LIGHT ROAST, MAXIMUM TASTE.

We roast all of our coffee ourselves, and we roast it light. This way you get to enjoy all the funkyness that coffee has to offer. Think of coffee with subtle notes of strawberry milkshake, chocolate chip cookies or peach iced tea.

Three reasons why our coffee tastes great.

YOUR COFFEE IS NEVER NOT FRESH.

Specialty coffee tastes best a few weeks after it's roasted. That's why we deliver your beans within a week of roasting. This way you always drink the most tasty coffee.
